About us
WHO IS OLIVER...?
We hope our furniture will encourage your children to create their imaginary worlds in blanketed forts, whispers tales of bedtime stories and read under the covers; lights off, flashlight on.
RESPONSIBLE SUSTAINABILITY
A strong belief drives us in a transparent and sustainable supply chain. Our products are produced at modern European furniture factories operating under fair and sustainable conditions. Our furniture is made with wood sourced from certified forests and other controlled sources.
Our dialogue with business partners is based on honesty and loyalty and undertaken personally with a common professional understanding of furniture making. Finished products are treated with only non-toxic water-based lacquer and paint.
EVERYDAY PHILOSOPHY
We value good furniture's sustainability: in the materials, in the making and the overall lifespan. An Oliver Furniture piece has all the qualities one would expect from Danish design: classic aesthetics with sleek, elegant lines, sturdy construction, and built to pass on to generations to come. Our designs must be easily adapted to your children's growth or repurposed for your family's needs, putting less pressure on the environment and your wallet. We do not cater to new trends, but families and our essential principles are that quality and good design will last forever.
”Children, family life, and having time for sand between your toes are all fundamental parameters to us.”
Søren Rørbæk
The safety
Safety and health lie at the heart of Oliver Furniture – after all, we are parents ourselves. Our furniture is designed to meet the strict EU norms and pass various tests regularly. Amongst others, we
test for evaporation of toxics on painted and lacquered surfaces and from the wood and MDF we use in our production. All our furniture complies with European safety standards and norms. Furthermore, we comply with the REACH requirements.
Our furniture comes with a 5-year warranty, covering wood construction defects. Also, we guarantee a five-year availability of the standard conversion kits for all convertible furniture from the date of purchase.
Design
We hope our furniture will encourage your children to create
their imaginary worlds in blanketed forts, whispers tales of bedtime stories and read under the covers; lights off, flashlight on. And for that reason, we deliberately design Oliver Furniture in simple, clean lines because we want them to blend seamlessly into your family life, your home and the marvellous time that is childhood. A time that often seems to fly by too fast, and where it is nice to keep a few things the same. With cleverly constructed craftsmanship and a sustainable lifespan, Oliver Furniture designs are made to stand the test of time, to stay familiar and safe, following your child and family as you grow.
We have three collections: Wood Collection, Seaside Collection & Camp Collection
5 Year Warranty
Each Oliver Furniture product comes with a 5 year warranty, covering wood construction defects. In addition, we guarantee a five-year availability of the standard conversion kits for all convertible furniture from the date of purchase.
20 years of fun and play
At Oliver Furniture, we believe that everyday life should be fun and there should be room for play. Being with family and friends and going to work should be fun. So as a company, we are particularly proud to celebrate 20 years with several employees who have been with us almost from the beginning.
Oliver Furniture aims to be a fun and good workplace where everyone wants to contribute and be valued. We don't think that's naive or childish; we believe it's necessary.
